Paul has begun his first year at Millar College of the Bible and their youngest Raelyn has just begun a International Studies degree through the University of Regina.

Scott And Robyn Ayars

Scott and Robyn were married on June 12,2010. Both are recent graduates of Briercrest College and Seminary and share in their passion for youth ministry.
Scott has recently accepted the role as Associate Youth Pastor for the Church of the Open Bible. He is eager to learn under Pastor Rob’s teaching, and has enjoyed the friendly hospitality the congregation has shown him. Scott is excited to build long lasting relationships with the youth group as they meet every Tuesday and Thursday.

Scott’s favourite verse is Matthew 22:37-39, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and Greatest Commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself”.

Amy Wiens

Amy joined the ministry of the Church of the Open Bible in the fall of 2006 when the need arose for a Children’s Ministries Coordinator. She realized her love forministering to children while working with Child Evangelism Fellowship and their Backyard Bible Clubs for 5 summers. Amy’s husband, Andy, works as a Pharmacist in Swift Current and is very willing to lend a hand when needed.

Amy’s ministries include leading a children’s worship service during the 11:00 a.m. adult service on Sunday mornings. This service is designed much like a regular service with worship singing and a teaching emphasis on growing in Christ. Heading up Club DJ, the church’s weekday outreach program also falls under her ministries. This program is designed for outreach into the community as well as a tool to equip the children who are already followers of Christ.

A verse that has become an encouragement to Amy and her ministry is 1Cor. 15:58 “So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.” (NLT)
